Moms2tech Inc. is a safe haven that supports young mothers in Broward County, Florida in becoming self-sufficient through IT career training, career readiness, mental health support, financial literacy, housing support (M2T Heart Grant) and a focus on holistic health.
What Makes Us Different?
A significant number of government services exhibit a tendency to impede progress by fostering stagnation amongst the individuals they serve. This often results in individuals refraining from upskilling and/or applying for higher paid positions. due to fixed compensation thresholds to remain in alignment with those services. In sharp contrast, our organization strives to take a holistic approach that entails professional development and skills improvement. We are not content with perpetuating an endless cycle but rather positively change the trajectory of our communities.

Janitra Ellison, the visionary and founder of Moms2tech Inc., a groundbreaking organization aimed at empowering women, especially mothers, in embracing technology and thriving in this new digital age.
Janitra's journey began through recognizing the challenges faced by many mothers, including her own experiences of homelessness. She understands the struggles that mothers endure with a lack of support and limited skills. Her journey has now served as a catalyst for the creation of Moms2Tech Inc.
Determined to make a difference, she embarked on a mission to create a platform that not only provided training and mentorship programs but also fostered a supportive community for women seeking to enter or advance in the tech industry. Offering workshops, webinars, classes and one-on-one coaching sessions, Moms2tech Inc. equips women with the knowledge and tools to navigate the digital landscape confidently.
With her magnetic personality, tireless work ethic, and relentless pursuit of her vision, Janitra continues to shape the future of the tech industry, by closing the gender digital divide, one mother at a time. She remains a driving force behind Moms2tech Inc., empowering countless women to realize their true potential and build successful careers in a rewarding industry.
